I have completed all the missions (twice) and most quest in Prophecies and I'm ready to add a new campaign. Any suggestions which should be next ? (I'd like to pick up a hero or two)

Second, I have not done any PvP, it's not high on my list, but I'm considering giving it try... does it matter Kurzick or Luxon faction ?

Thanks !

If heroes are a prime concern then Nightfall or EotN are what you want, Nightfall offers the most heroes and is a full campaign, larger selection of new skills etc.

EotN gives you fewer heroes and a smaller storyline, but also includes a plethora of dungeons and overpowered PvE skills.

Game play wise, you could probably get an equal amount of game play time from either.

Get both if you can

Oh, and read this thread on the subject .

The question "kurzick or luxon?" has absolutely nothing to do with PvP.

Kurzick or Luxon only comes into play with regard to Alliance Battles, Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood... which most people would have a hard time considering to be 'real' PvP.

Personally I think the choice of Luxon or Kurzick would come down to finding a good guild that you enjoy being in, if it's a Kurzick guild... so be it, you're a tree hugger.

So no, it doesn't matter.

You could buy the Trilogy (or Complete Collection if you are European), which has all of the campaigns included. It will not overwrite your existing characters, just upgrade your Prophecies to Game of the Year and give you M.O.X. and the Summoning Stone for the Fire Imp. The Trilogy is on sale on Amazon for $24.99 and Eye of the North for $7.50 http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...rds=guild+wars . Or you can get the Trilogy from Steam where it is also on sale although they do not carry EotN.

If you want heroes, choose nightfall. PvE, though harder than in Prophecies, is easier than in Eye of the North. You'll have two new character classes (Paragon and Dervish) and many heroes. Also many new skills, including elites.

If you can get through Proph with 2 toons, you will enjoy any of the other campaigns. I have 9 post searing toons, all have beaten NF, EotN, and Factions. Only 1 has finished Proph so that shows how much I enjoyed it.

I don't think you can go wrong with NF or EotN. Both offer heroes and both offer quite a bit of additional game play. You will get some quality end game experiences with either of them, dungeons in EotN and DoA with NF. NF does allow creation of 2 new character classes though so that might be nice for you.

But prices are coming down on all of them so pick them all up if you can swing it!

If you're considering PvP you'll want access to all skills so maybe buy a trilogy or complete.

Thanks for all the replies @Nerel ... I'm XWow and XLineage2 so I was use to PvP available pretty much full time... in an instance oriented mmorpg like GW, I thought Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood were Gw's version of pvp. What am I missing ? Thks !

PvP is RA (low-end) and HA and GvG (high-end).
